Jessica Hall

Licensed Optician

Jessica has been an optician for over 13 years, and joined Eye Health Solutions in 2016. She excels at helping patients select the perfect eyeglass frames and ensuring that the most technologically advanced lenses are used. As a result, our patients look great and see their best. Jessica is also skilled at adjusting eyeglass frames for fit and comfort, as well as repairs.

When Jessica is not making the world look and see better, she loves to be at home with her husband, daughter, and two dogs in Versailles.

Denise Gritton

Office Manager

An army brat who spent most of her childhood near Denver, Colorado, Denise joined Eye Health Solutions in 2005 doing patient check-out. Learning everything she could about the practice, she became the Optometric Technician, then Front Desk Coordinator, and ultimately the Office Manager in 2014. Her diligence and drive are primarily responsible for many of the improvements made to our practice in the last several years.

Although Denise doesn’t have much idle time at work, she can often be caught staring at the growing number of pictures of her grandkids. On warm, sunny days, she likes to ride her Harley Sportster.

Drayma Holmes

Insurance and Billing

Drayma’s first tour of duty at Eye Health Solutions was between 2001 and 2011. After a brief retirement, she decided to return in 2013. Apparently she really loves fighting with insurance companies.

Drayma has been a camera operator at First Baptist Church in Lawrenceburg for many years. She also makes the world’s best chicken salad, bar none.

Makayla Parton

Optometric Technician

Makayla is our newest team member, starting just a few weeks before all the COVID-fun erupted.  She picked up right where she left off before the Great Shutdown and continues to learn more about eye care every week.

Makayla enjoys spending time with her family and two dogs and finding a quiet corner to read a good book.  She moved from her native Casey County in 2019 to Lawrenceburg, where she feels most at home.

Scott Smith, OD

Dr. Smith, a native of Leitchfield, Kentucky, graduated magna cum laude from Georgetown College, majoring in biology.  He then graduated in the top 10% of his class at Indiana University School of Optometry after completing rotations at university clinics in Bloomington and Indianapolis, Pensacola Veterans’ Administration Clinic, and John-Kenyon Eye Center.  After one year of additional training in hospital-based optometry at Lexington Veterans’ Administration Medical Center, he gained several years of experience in diverse settings including private optometry and ophthalmology practices.  He purchased Eye Health Solutions in 2005.

Dr. Smith loves to spend time outdoors, especially mountain biking, long walks or hikes, and playing tennis.  He is an information junkie constantly listening to podcasts and a wannabe powerlifter.
